I'm looking for books that include actual training routines by successful athletes, especially in combat sports. There are very few of this kind:>Workouts from Boxing's greatest Champs I+II by Charlie Todd>Box like the Pros by Smoking Joe Frazier>Thai Boxing by Zoran Rebac>This is Karate by Mas Oyama>The Judo exercise books by Donn Draeger form the 50sI never found anything with actual routines by modern MMA or grappling guys. Do you people on here know any useful books about this topic? Track and Field stuff is also useful to me.Reason is that I have trouble putting all the stuff i know together, I need more inspiration about how the actual winners work and less Nippard-esque dork science theory.
>>76889984Snake oilYou dont need a book to box or liftAll you need is to "do it"
>>76889991dont listen to this anon. baki the grappler became the master of all combat arts by reading books before he stepped in any ring.

>>76890189>mid delt raisesBb front raises use your mid delts. Shits sick fromt delts is more underhand jerkoff stiff arm curl and strict military press.

I read this one last year. To be honest, your not going to find anything here that changes your life. They're not doing anything you wouldn't expect. 'Rocky Marciano would run 10ks!''Evander Holyfield would spar 15 rounds 3 times a week!''Tyson would run 10 miles, then sleep, then do 1000 sit ups a day!'Really every work out in it is just some variation of heavy bag work, speed bag work, shadow boxing, skipping, road work and running in various amounts and times of the day. It's inspiring, but you probably already know to do those things lots right?
Just to follow up as well, I haven't read this one but I read Frank Shamrocks biography and it talked about their training system at the Lions Den. Not very modern but if you like the grungy boxing style work outs, the Lions Den boys did some crazy shit. The initial cardio work outs you needed to complete to get into the gym were insane.
