It's easier to blame "the universe", "the system" or ((them)) than to play with the cards you're dealt with and look at the positive side of things. The echo chambers they lurk validate their misery by never telling the full story (besides being lucrative for the company). An example is the height myth. It's true women prefer taller men, but by average, women are shorter, so even if you're 1,61 cm, you're still taller than most females. Sad folk, the best you can do is to call out their depressive logic.
