How the fuck do you do low bar? Like I feel like I'm gonna dump the bar forward with muh hip drive and when I'm going down I don't know how far I'm supposed to sit back.I got my squat up to 315 for 10 high bar but can't wrap my head around low bar.Also, on a side note, I've developed a pain in my lower right ass cheek and inner right thigh 2 months into doing low bar. Something I've never gotten with high bar, so I don't know what the fuck gives.
Im a natural lanklet. Front squat and highbar feel more natural to me, but after like 13 years of low bar, I understand why its superior. Quad engagement on both squats is near identical - the big difference is low bar uses a lot more hib, glute, back and hamstring. So quad engagement is the same, but posterior engameent is more w low bar. Low bar doesnt "neglect" the quads at all. It just ADDS more glute/ham/back/hips, which is why you can lift more weight. Lifting more = better.
