>eating 3400 kcal a day, making good progress and reached 140 lbs

>barely ate anything and missed the gym
>tried to return to old schedule and kcal intake today
>ended up literally shitting non stop for 2 hours
>stuck on the toilet so long that the gym closed
>every five minutes there would be another bowel movement

Is it a mistake to just abruptly go back to my regular intake? should I just start over with a gradual increase in calories?

I've gained muscle but I'm still skinny. I didnt just immediately begin eating 3400 kcal a day when i started bulking, i started off with a daily intake of 2500 kcal, then gradually increased.
