Core bros I need help. I’ve been neglecting abs/core for too long and tried to do an ab wheel at the gym today and can’t even do one. What’s some no bullshit core exercises I should be doing and how often?

I don't think anyone should do the ab wheel. Eventually it'll just destroy your shoulders.
The best ab exercises are cable crunches and dragon flags.
Do 20+ reps of cable crunches and tell me it doesn't feel like you've just been punched in the gut.

Not OP but i can do 20+ reps with 55kg one pulley full stack clean technique only spinal flexion with paused reps squeeze and i still struggle to feel any "burn" or go to failure

Cable crunches are weird for me because sometimes I really feel it and then sometimes I don’t and just feel fatigued/out of breath. Maybe I’m doing to much weight.

It is. This is my physique btw. I think I look ok but I just really struggle with strengthening my core and would appreciate advice.

>weighted decline situps
>hanging leg raises (better on captain's chair or stall bars)
