Blew L5-S1 years ago (desk job > construction work > snap city). Went full autistic on rehab, fine now. Thinking of making an info-pack for others in need. Post what actually worked for you: exercises(even retarded ones), diet, supps, studies, peptides, whatever. Will appreciate your help and maybe post it there someday when ready.

I'm only a physiotherapy student but I've done a lot of work with lower back pain patients whilst on placement.

Peter O'Sullivan is imo the leading expert on recovering from mild to severe pain, with both no cause and a mechanical injury present. The little poster I attached is a good summary of a lot of his research.

Best exercise is a jefferson curl weighted to your own pain tolerance. Allow the lower back to bend and bear the weight, it's what it's designed to do
