Hello everyone, I usually eat meat from my local butcher here in Germany, because 90% of supermarket meat tastes like shit compared to what you can get from a good butcher. You really notice that they are blasting whatever chemicals they can into some animals held in some shitty gulag with no light, which is why I avoid buying meat from the supermarket most of the time. But the butcher is more expensive, which is also why I started buying some vegan versions of stuff like chicken nuggets here and there. My logic is that while both might be very artifical, one is just plants and shit and you cant mess those up as badly as you can do with meat, and at least no animal had to suffer for the former. To be honest, the vegan alternatives taste better most of the time, they are sometimes even a bit cheaper, and looking at the nutrients, they got just as many, if not more proteins than their flesh counterparts. I also like creamy sauces, and saw that tofu is not just perfect to add to sauces for that reason, but it's also a solid source of proteins on top of that. You can sneakily add it to a lot of things for that extra nutrition and protein boost. So my question is, is this actually feasible? I mean, samurais basically lived off of fish, rice, tofu and basedbean stuff with only occasional red meat, and not only did they look pretty good, they also lived pretty damn healthy, all things considered, so there has to be something to it, right?
protein is protein as long as you get enough amino acids. Just eat more than 1 vegan protein source and you will be fine. Anything else is just schizoposting by people who think theyre more "manly" for eating dead animals pumped full of dangerous chemicals.
>>76932446Raw eggs and dairy.
most of those vegan alternatives are bad for you because they are ultraprocessed and packed with preservatives. try to eat more “raw” foods regardless of it being vegan or not as long as you get your macros.
>>76932446No. >>76932451Most of the """protein""" in plants is crude nitrogen. The only reliable source is animal products.
>>76932451Cool, my worry was that plant based proteins were not as good as something, but I do have multiple protein sources. As said, I do regularely like to eat meat but I think it's funny af when I see especially americans make videos about how manly and healthy they are for only eating meat and not any vegan liberal goyslop and then they show you the most abcess ridden, polluted shitmeat with more palstics than protein in it from the supermarket lol>>76932454I am german ja of course I eat lots of ze dairy, so no worries there, but why raw eggs? I do also eat eggs, but mostly sunnyside up
>>76932464>carnitard taking lies againHa ha
>>76932473Then your bases for protien are covered, eggs and dairy are awesome. I will have smoked tofu once in awhile. I also dont worry about "protien" cause most of it is bullshit "the science" stuff to buy supplements or be a roidtranny psychopath.
>>76932460That makes sense, I will do so, though if I have to, I still think I will go with the vegan alternative. But what about tofu, it seems so plain to me that there is not much that can be ultraproccessed about it in the first place>>76932464>>76932474You two will have to sort this out, but I don't think that is true, maybe meat is more reliable after all, but plant proteins are for sure more than just nitrogen>>76932480That's good to hear, do you have any good recipes with tofu? Would love to hear them if you don't mind
>>76932505Tofu is just beans in a condensed form. The "onions scare" was from onions "based" products with tons of garbage filler. Real Tofu is one or two ingredients based on how firm it is.
Holy shit I forgot how gay some of the filters on here are S 0 Y scare and S 0 Y "based" products.
yeah I guess if the meat available in your area is that bad then plants may be the way to go
>>76932681Had some red cherry acne looking dude try and explain to me how superior his grass fed "organic" beef was to my home raised chicken eggs. When I mentioned to "farm" he gets it from has to legally vaccinate all their cows in order to sell the meat after process. He was pissed.
>>76932446Yo will be ending up as an asian twink. Eat cow and cow accessories
>>76932446Seitan is probably a better choice than tofu for vegan protein. I dated a vegetarian for a while and that was her go-to. Might want to look it up.I can't comment on the taste or specific micronutrients though as I never partook (and neither did she want force it upon me).
>>76932446The only real issue with plant based protein sources is that they have a much lower quality than meat sources; which means that it's more difficult for the body to get access to the protein in a usable form. It's still doable, but the volume of food you'd have to eat would eventually become a limiting factor of how much protein you could actually get.I was vegetarian for awhile, and that eventually turned into being pescatarian to get more higher quality protein from fish and shellfish because eating loads of eggs became super annoying. If you want to larp as a samurai because it's motivating, then just do it. Have fun and don't take shit too seriously.
>>76933091This isn't true. PCDAAS scoring is based on single foods. If you are eating more than one type of food you are getting all essential amino acids, and your body is very good at breaking down your current tissue and rebuilding it using the new aminos. It's basically a shill lie ketolards will tell you. They know it's a lie. They don't care.
>>76932446The average japanese is a 5'2 literal wrist limped skeleton basedboy who's addicted to cuckoldry and nintendo/pokemon, their entire history is nothing but backstabbing, sleazing into the winning team, beating women and getting cucked, why the fuck do you want to be like them?Stop watching anime you weeb faggot, their self portrayals of being the chads are not real, samurais aren't even strong, the average european knight would rape them
>>76933109100% of every cast member of My 600 lbs Life eats all your favorite foods. Why would you want to be like them?
Außerdem neigen die Japaner dazu, alles Neue und Besondere zu übernehmen, um später dann ein optimales Mittelding draus zu machen, zuerst haben sie es mit China, und dann mit Europa gemacht, hat also nicht so viel zu heißen>>76933109In two sentenced and one image filename you talked about rape once and cuckolding three times, you obviously have much more severe issues you should focus on before trying to lecture others about possible diets
>>76933023I'm jealous of people who farm their own eggs but I couldn't deal with having chickens
all plant protein has a complete amino acid profilepersonally I like chicken and tofu, they both taste great and are low fatsadly even plant protein is not immune to shitty farming techniques and toxins
>>76932446Not reading all that.Tofu and plant protein is fine as long as you get complete amino acid profiles. Combing beans and lentils, etc.Meat is just more efficient. The body can break it down easier, all the protein from are complete, lean meat has a great protein to calorie ratio, and fatty meata are great for getting extra calories without extra volume.Fish+rice+vegetables is healthy. Don't fall for grifters. Life is about balance. Staple foods are tried and true, no need to waste money.
>>76934804>>Tofu and plant protein is fine as long as you get complete amino acid profiles. Combing beans and lentils, etc.hello retard, look above and educate yourself>>76934780
Get some cottage cheese from Lidl. Those 200 gram cups contain 25 grams of protein and they're like 99 cents.
>>76934841That's a good one, I get that pretty often, no idea why cottage cheese is this busted but its a great addition to any recipeI also really like these protein puddings they have, they are pretty cheap too, LIDL is just epic
>>76932446Tofu and tempeh are good sources for protein. I personally avoid seitan but many like it. If you’re going to be a vegetarian, it will be much easier to hit your daily protein goals. Vegans have to lock in a stricter diet.
>>76933866Grow up weebie
>>76932446>Brings up animal suffering. Starts talking about Samurai and eating fish in next sentence. If you wanna be cheap and buy gross vegan shit totally your call, just dont make it about morality you dumb fuck. The trawlers that catch fish not only destroy the entire ecosystem they harvest and ruin the ocean floor, the nets indiscriminately catch squid, sharks, inedible fish, which they let die on the deck of the boat before tossing them back into the ocean. Say what you will about cows, but at least 50 rabbits and squirrels didnt have to die, so they could catch my burger. Cost effectiveness I understand, but you just sound like a misinformed cunt when you make it about conservation. Picrel what the sea floor looks like after.

>>76935285>fish are on the same level of mammalsGood thing fish can breed by the hundreds of millions in just months.
>>76935331Hahahaha. I know anything more than a snapple fact is too much info for you to process at a time, but let me put this in words you understand. Situation bad bad, ocean in trouble, people cause this, make fish sad. Maybe do some research next time dipshit.

>>76935285Why are you hyperfocusing so much on the fish part, I just mentioned that it was one of the things samurai ate next to tofu and basedbeans. And on top of that, I was mentioning the wellbeing of animals too just as one of the reasons why I am considering eating more vegan, I still eat meat and fish, but even then I try to be educated on how they are sourced nonetheless, because you are telling me nothing new. Good point about the cows though

>>76932446The only people I have ever heard say flesh instead of meat are terminally online vegans. And what do you know, your post starts with an innocent question but is actually about putting down animal products and uptalking vegan replacement products. Please take your stealth activism elsewhere.
