Do i have to be the one to say it? Ok.

[spoiler] ive never seen an aesthetic guy deadlifting. ive seen a lot of redfaced obese powerlifter slobs deadlifting, and weak crossfit millenial DYEL doods deadlifting, but never an aesthetic guy that you actually mire[/spoiler]

there's a few guys at my gym who are jacked & aesthetic & ripped who NEVER deadlift, but they squat

i spoke to one of them a few weeks ago, he said he never did deadlifts, worked upto a 5 plate squat for reps, and was able to deadlift 5 plate for reps, without ever having done it before

deadlifting is a lift for displaying your full body strength, thats about it

Most guys are not aesthetic. Most lifters look mediocre to bad.
But pretty much every big strong 'aesthetic' guy squats and deadlifts really heavy.

As much as it pains me to give airtime to rippletits, I do subscribe to his belief that cleans and deadlift balance each other out on a way that allows you to progess on both without becoming a hog. (He has some dumbass yin/yang graphic in his book)

Skill issue. Or do it with dumbbells or kettlebells if you're that scared about impingements
