In the early 20th century and prior whey was also used by rich people at health spas as an elixir. Hypocrites thousands of years ago recommended it as a health elixir. Poor people who lived on farms and got it as a byproduct of cheese production would either drink it to not let it go to waste or feed it to pigs if they had pigs. Whey protein concentrate and then Whey protein isolate are just the more modern forms as a way to get more protein in the diet.

Protein is important for both health and especially important for athletic performance and gainz. Not a scam. People who eat higher protein diets tend to be healthier anyways.

Prior to 2020, whey protein concentrate and isolate used to be quite cheap before kikes started to jack up the prices. However, even at current prices, say $60 for a 2 lb tub of flavored isolate, say at about 30 servings at 28g per serving, it's 3.6 cents per gram which is still way cheaper than the 12 cents per gram from chipotle. If you stocked up on a 33% off sale for instance for $40 per tub is 2.3 to 2.4 cents per gram which is close to 1/6 the price of chipotle. Comparable to the price of spending 10 minutes and 0.0005 cents worth of electricity to cook your own damn chicken breast.

It's still inexpensive compared to fastfood. With perhaps the best bang for your buck being chicken breast/chicken tenderloid in bulk.

The only possible scam is when Arnold sold Weider's product and pretended it was what made him huge in the first place instead of the other "vitamins" he was taking.
