The process of bulking hydrates fat AND muscle cells. Best to keep "bloated" when trying to put on muscle, I have like 18in+ biceps and I hit arms less than chest/delts/lats/dls/squats/olympic lifts weightlifting. You're lifting from a weakened state, you can add another heavy day a week being bulked not necessarily bulking.
