No access to gym nor equipment over the holidays so can't really do any training besides maybe pushups for about 10 days.
Thinking about going into a daily calorie deficit of maybe 1000 kcal to tackle my love handles.
If I eat high protein, is this a good idea to make me lose some fat or will I just be feeding my gains to the goblins?
>>
Why the fuck would you lose gainz instead of make them? Are you highly advanced lifter with no bodyfat? Then maybe just based on being in a cut.

Try doing things you dont normally do and you will start hitting new muscles and same muscles in new ways

Well I can't seriously workout during that time since I don't have any equipment, not even dumbbells.
I've read about not going into a too big calorie deficit plus keep working out when cutting in order to avoid losing muscle mass... And I'm basically too dumb to know if my body will use fat or muscle mass first when going into a calorie deficit of 1000+ kcal / day

You can serously workout without equipment. You must be dyel

>so can't really do any training
total retardation. body weight squats and lunges, wind sprints, running backwards, calf raises, front calf raises, pullups (many varieties), pushups (many varieties). That is all you need.
>>
just stop eating fatty

It's only ten days, nigger. Enjoy the break. Don't lift. Eat whatever you want to. You'll be fine.

Isn't this the opposite? A DYEL (me lmao) can easily hit failure with like, 2x10 pushups; an advanced lifter is not going to hit failure in a reasonable number of pushups

bodyweight exercises are inherently harder the higher your BF% is, a 230 pound guy is 180lb of lean mass wearing a 50lb fat suit

My granny coukd eadily do 2x10 pushups. Been lifting for years but sometimes do calisthnics and can relibably hit 50 good form pushups in a row at any given time even if i have not done pushups in months.
