So it looks like next semester I'm going to be fucked for time for lifting.Assuming you only have 10, 25, 35, & 45lb dumbells and only one day a week to workout what would you do?
I'd do an extremely autistic 8 hour full body workout
>>76937610So like workout for 8 hours while watching videos about Trains?
>>76937607I woke up early to lift last semester and plan on doing the same this semester. Probably less time spent lifting than you soend on phone per day
>>76937607Body weight exercises. Pull-ups and push-ups. You can squeeze a couple dozen of whatever in before your morning shower, or do your squats while showering.Or you do a quick set right after getting home. Do some while your chicken and broccoli cooks for good measure. It won't get you giga huge gainz, but it's still good exercise and maintains you.
>>76937662
just drop one class you fucking mongoloid retard
>>76937686Good luck lifting one day a week lel
>>76937688>finish my degree next semester>or delay finishing my degree and spend thousands more dollars so I can have more time for working outYeah no.
>>76937691
>>76937695>be you>leave the best part of life>rush to graduate into terrible economy>lose gains>actual retard
>>76937710(You)
>>76937607i'd use the DBs to salvage my arms, get a pull-up bar, and do calisthenics + focus on improving my general athleticism (cardio, endurance, flexibility, explosiveness, balance, etc.) rather try to get conventionally stronger.
>>76937607Assuming you're telling the truth, you're not realistically doing much for yourself if you only have one day available to work out, no matter how efficient that workout may be.Goblet squats, lunges, dumbbell press, tricep extensions using your bed or a chair for support, bicep curls, and rear delt flies are probably a good set of options to get a full body workout in alongside pushups. Aside from that your diet should be on point.
>>76938254In theory it may not be this bad but I'm prepping for worst case scenario especially towards the end of the semester.
>>76938263If it helps, I found it simpler to work small lifting sessions around doing cardio three times a week during times I either didn't feel like lifting much or found myself on a temporary time crunch. For example, I would go on a 15-minute jog three times a week after lifting for about 30-45 minutes at low to moderate intensity. You might be leaving some gains on the table, but my guess is you're primarily looking to maintain a consistent fitness regime and are not too preoccupied with bulking, cutting, or whatever.
>>76938314Biggest concern is maintaining muscle given the circumstances.
>>76937607Weighted dips, pullups, unilateral skullcrushers, delt flies, preacher unilateral curls, weighted abs, back extensions, box jumps on something, use the university gym. Use low rest sets and reverse pyramid so like weighted dips until no weight, it's more for saving time in the gym to be able to get a complete workout.
Might work on increasing test naturally. Do weekly vigorous digital prostate massage to completion. No sneed oils.
Doggcrapp Routine. look into it. funky muscle group split, but its quick fast and nasty. Works fucking great tho. Its almost like "Shoulders, Calves, Triceps, and abs / 1 exercise per group, 1 set of 25 STRICT reps, no pussy mechanical advantage shit. Each workout takes maybe 20 minutes, works great. Don't be lazy, you aren't that busy.
>>76937607anon ima give you some good advice.don't give a shit about your coursework. if you fail but are kind of close you can email the professor and beg and he'll pass you anyways.and when you get older it will be much harder to make the sacrifices needed for weightlifting.just go to your college's gym and target lifting 4 hours 5 days a week.I know that sounds like alot but seriously it isn't you're in college and have nothing to do.looking good will make you absolutely nail all interviews and promotions lead to a fulfilling love life and just everything in life is better and easier.and also sounds expensive but take 5+ servings of whey protein everyday.good luck. this is the only good advice itt.
>>76939061>if you fail but are kind of close you can email the professor and beg and he'll pass you anyways.maybe in meme unis, in mine you fail, you wait one year to take the exam again. You fail twice and the course is mandatory? too bad, you are banned from all STEM programs in the country
>>76937607>there are recorded instances of plato settling debates by standing up and flexingsource?
>>76940256incredibly based.keep the retards out of important jobs.thank you for your cervix
>>76937607Weighted pull ups, weighted push ups, squats.Amrap with each weight.
>>76940291>thank you for your cervix
>>76937607Assuming you have dumbbells then you can lift them for 10 minutes every day, you lazy cunt looking for excuses.>>76940256>You fail twice and the course is mandatory? too bad, you are banned from all STEM programs in the countryKek, what is this, north korea?
others have better advice for the one day workout, but why not supplement with home calisthenics. buy a backpacking pack (i.e. one with a good padded hip belt and some structure), some rubberized plates and a pullup bar, now instead of having only 1 gym day you can get a 10 or 20 minute workout in right after waking up, before bed or as a study break every day.
>>76941660Most people here are trying to workout as little as possible. Then they make a post 6 months later about how the jews stole their gainz
>>76937607>plato physique posting irl to own dyels Unfathomably based
>>76941739true, and i definitely feel the temptation to shitpost instead of heading to the gym, but thats what makes home workouts so nice, you don't have nearly as many opportunities to avoid them as if you had to leave the house, keep clean sets of gym clothes ready, socialize, etc.
>>76940256consider moving to a non third world shithole
>>76937607I'd get a pullup bar and maybe parallets high enough for dips. Then maybe some DIY methods for strapping the dumbells together for some exercises. Then I'd do a 2x week training with one proper day and one minimalist day(you can fit warmups, three giant sets of dips, pullups and squat variations into 20 mins. You have 20 mins, don't lie to me)
Reminder that Mike Mentzer worked 12 hour shifts, 6 days a week for 4 years while still managed to lift heavy 3 hours daily, 6 days a week. It's all about mindset and judging by OPs attitude towards some of the replies, he'll never make it unfortunately
>>76944040>op presents scenario>anons ignore the scenario>OP has a bad attitude!Nah you guys are fucking retarded regardless of how retarded OP is.
>>76937607Unless you are in over 15 hours of advanced physics/math classes you have time to lift
>>76944710The scenario may as well have been>i have so little time for studying because i spend so much time lifting. How to i pass my college classes learning one day a week>you cant bro>noooo why are you ignoring my scenerioooo
>>76937607>semester>fucked for time for liftingIf you can’t lift in college you’re doomed.
>>76937607Nigger I’m full time school, 20 hrs/wk part time researcher, sole programmer for our school’s aquatic robotics team, club faculty for ACM, a tutor, applying for jobs, and I’m still gonna be hitting the gym daily. What in the actual fuck could you possibly be doing that prevents you from dedicating an hour of your 16 available?
>>76937607good diet
>>76937607Buy pull-up bar and dips or rings. Study using pomodoro technique.Do sets in between those study breaks. Legs will be weak, but if it’s only one semester it can work
>>76937607Wake up earlier and liftYou're welcome
