15years ago I didnt drink any soda because of all the sugar.
Then they invented cola zero and tasty drinks with zero sugar.
A few years later I started chugging them because where is the harm?
Today they are saying it 'might' cause cancer.
Well, this is just fucking awesome.
Now I have to break the habit/addiction same as a low iq nigger hooked on cigarettes.
This is going to be funny. This is existential humiliation.

First step is to stop buying the shit when grocery shopping I guess.
What are your tips and tricks?
>>
Drink lots of water I guess, there's no shame in buying spring water if your tap tastes bad.

Or you could just not be a pussy, keep drinking artificial sweeteners and die of cancer like a real man.
>>
the next metanalysis will say it cures cancer welcome to nutrition """science"""
>>
Americans do get addicted to food? Lmao, just stop drinking it, nigger. Ignore your black blood crying out at even the tiniest inconvenience.

Also
>falling for the anti-sugar campaign and preferring harmful chemicals instead because "muh science"
For every drop of nigger blood, you apparently lose an ounce of common sense. Couldn't be me, but then again, I am white.

Coke zero is for skinny bitch jack and cokes
>>
Feels like everything goves cancer these days
>>
Yes, the geniuses in science love to tell us everything they test on lab mice causes cancer, because lab mice are the most prone to cancer species imaginable. It doesn't even need Aspartame or Sucralose or whatever sweetener they shove down their throats at 9000x the rate a human consumes, because they are too cheap to do a long term study, to get cancer. But like any study, all symptoms must be reported, so if you take 100 people, and 4 get diarrhea because there is a good chance out of 100 people 4 would get it from something, the study must say "may cause diarrhea" even if the drug/whatever didnt cause it. People usually get sick in 8 weeks.

>>76938401
the caffeine makes it addictive. either swap to some other form, or ween yourself off slowy. you piece of shit junky
>>
>>76938455
not exactly how it works. you always have control groups who are given nothing/a placebo/whatever you want to compare against.
so a general proneness to cancer would also affect the control group.
>>
>>76938401
>one of the most consumed products on the planet
>IT CAUSES FOOKIN CANCER M8
There should be a massive, easily detectable gap in cancer rates between people who drink pop and who don't
>>
>>76938401
>Today they are saying it 'might' cause cancer.
I just drank a bottle of it yesterday. Got a weird feeling in my head. I used to drink coke zero more often years ago, but I slowly stopped. Drinking it again after a break, it feels strange, like poison. I don't doubt for a second that it causes cancer or at least some kind of negative effects.
>>
>>76938487
Yeah, you're right. Giving a mouse 9,000 times its body weight in milligrams of sucralose is definitely an accurate reflection of how people consume it and is applicable to humans.
>>
>>76938455
You are supposed to disclose being paid by the soda industries..
>>
I've been drinking this shit for 20 years, 2 litres every day, and I'm 24bmi and all my blood works indicate perfect health
>>
>>76939040
>and I'm 24bmi
>perfect health
Good for you anon. Ain't no soda gunna take you down
>>
>>76938487
Yes, it isn't exactly how it work because I only gave the relevant information. What happens to the control group, people would still get sick naturally through their normal behavior unrelated to the study, like a large group of people would, but it doesnt need to be reported as part of a study. If you took a study with two groups and both take a sugar pill, if they HAD to report side effects, they would have to report the usual, that every study on medicine has, (may cause nausea, drowsiness, etc.) Now ADD the animal that just ALWAYS gets cancer in their short and sickly lives, that will always be a result in a study. Only morons think it comes from the actual thing being studied.
>>
>>76938401
i went the opposite route and drink caffeine free soda. muh corn syrup reeeeeee i dont give a fuck im not a fat fuck. sucks to suck
>>
>>76939721
>but it doesnt need to be reported as part of a study
Again, not how it works. These are usually double blind studies, i.e. the participants don't know if they got the test substance or not (animals aren't aware either way) and the researchers don't know either during the evaluation. only afterwards it is revealed and then compared. and what gets reported if one group has a significant increase or decrease in whatever sympton may have been found.

if an animal always gets cancer, the test group won't have an increase and it won't get reported.

there often is an issue with these reports, or rather, reports of those studies. it's what >>76938522 said. some groups are given an extremely high amount of substance. an amount that no normal person would ever come close to consume. and when those show adverse effects some publications will use that as proof to scaremonger that the substance is inherently dangerous.

There are still no proven health risks of drinking sugar-free drinks unless you chug like 5 liters a day
>>
>>76938401
quitting the soda jew is annoying. you'll get flu-like symptoms for a week or two and then you'll be fine.

But quitting (high) sugar is a lot harder than quitting diet soda

There is nothing addicting in diet soda except the taste itself
>>

>15years ago I didnt drink any soda because of all the sugar.

That was marketing because people didn't know diet coke and diet pepsi and diet everything else had zero calories already. Diet coke is from 1982.
>>
>>76938440
That's because we're uncovering just how fucked American corporations have behaved within the food industry. People here make memes about goyslop yet never fucking actually discuss processed food, sodas, fast food, and sugar.

The idea that no calorie sweeteners don't cause cancer is something that I can't believe ever crossed the mind of a rational person.
Plus- they all taste like shit.

You have to cold turkey caffeine and just suffer headaches and withdrawal for a couple of weeks. Caffeine is literal crack that people take every day and they don't realise how fucking addictive it is.

>get a craving for chocolate chip cookies since It's the holidays and I always remember eating them with hot cocoa

Bro... Please...
>>

Same experience with German speciality gingerbread.
Also makes me mad at inflation calculation - wow, the price only doubled but now instead of real nuts, cacao and spices I'm now eating corn syrup, palm oil, artificial flavoring and ground peach pits.

>>76946600
Kek exactly the same in UK. 80% of our supermarket has some form of seed oil and/or sugarslop or sweetners. The only thing that doesn't is fresh fruit/veg. Even bread has it, even meat has it if there's any kind of sauce, coating or marinade or if it's processed in any way. Absolutely every prepared meal has it.

The meat is probably full of PUFA from shit diets and who knows what's in eggs. We are actually so fucking cooked bros.
>>
>>76946584
The difference between the glucose fructose ratio in high fructose corn syrup and regular corn syrup is 5%. You have literally no reason to avoid a few cookies worth of it. Stop buying into headline hype when you haven't looked into any of the literature on why X ingredient is the devil or whatever. Its a cookie dude.
