It feels like every channel nowadays has devolved into churning out ragebait or fitness drama slop. I don't care about what Jeff Nippard did, I don't care what Mike Israetel said. I just want to get tips from guys who are bigger than me and who like to lift.

I used to unironically watch Natural Hypertrophy solely for this reason, but even he gradually started making drama content and now he doesn't even fucking upload anymore. What are some other channels that steer clear of internet celebrity bullshit and just focus on lifting?

I miss when he was small time. Hearing every comment he saw and making hour plus long videos that weren't about drama. I still remember him DOMINATING the retard funckshional shills.
>>
>>76940076
I mean everything has already been said and there's little point in watching fitness YouTube but
- Sean nawalnyi or however you spell it
- Ryan Humiston
- and even though I can't stand his manners nor his click bait, athleanx does give the best advice on form 99% of the time
>>
>>76940092
Fucking NIGGER. I meant to say HEARTING, not hearing.
>>
>>76940081
sure, I'm desperate. Link your channel.
>>76940088
His early stuff was perfect for my tastes (just an autistic guy ranting about lifting in his garage) but as time went on and his channel grew there was definitely a decline in quality. I still go back and watch his old vids sometimes, I miss those days.
>>
nh is only profcient in waffling on about shit instead of getting to the point

Not sure if hes still making vids, but I used to just go to scott hermans fitness if I ever needed advice on how to do a certain lift.
>>
>>76940112
scott is based but he makes drama vids now so doesn't really meet the requirements i guess

Untamed Strength is still good. Alan avoids drama pretty well. So does Brian Alsruhe

ah, they all go that way in the end huh. Shame

In Scott's defense he has the best video on the platform for virtually every exercise in existence. If he wants to switch to doing drama content to make his living, then he's earned it more than anyone. It's better than going back to doing homoerotic photoshoots.

Shethar training

Do you like lifting? Do you wanna be strong? Do you wanna be jacked? So do they. Do you never want the basics to be explained to you again? They never will, they just talk about technical models to be strong and how to keep working harder. It’s refreshing and pleasant. They usually drop an hour of chatting about lifting a week. They constantly get stronger and bigger. It’s sick. They love it they live it and they talk about how they do it.

2nd garage strength, really enjoying the videos as i'm getting more into sport training

I watch bald omniman occassionally. I'd say his content is more focused on entertainment than on being instructional, but he mostly talks about lifting, clearly enjoys it and you can get a few pointers or new perspectives on something here and there. Nothing groundbreaking, but then again, lifting has been solved for decades now.

Who is j00t00b's top supplement wizard these days?
>not 2026 yet, so not me.
Definitely not picrel. Pascoe doesn't run a channel. Dr. Rhonda Patrick and Huberman are also both walled as fuck now, before you mention them, they are only a little smarter than picrel.
>>
I like the videos van Wyck has been putting out. He's an endless stream of Boomer knowledge and has actually walked the walk and met/competed with the legends he talks about. I could see why Nippard would annoy the fuck out of him, a natty midget trying to reinvent the wheel.

I mostly just watch fitness videos in Japanese, no risk of getting involved in that cinematic universe of drama slop.

Some of my favorite youtubers unfortunately retired and/or stopped posting regularly or even at all, but there's plenty of content out there.

There's Shiny Azami
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71aUNTNgR_M
He also used to do cooking videos and post workout videos with another guy under the Muscle Grill channel
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJtgQEXAjNI
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIWzuIhJZZM
Jurassic Kizawa, I think he's retired and just runs his gym while showcasing younger competitors on his channel now, but he's got plenty of videos from back in the day
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyUr0bt5dhA
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29aIhoXBLxQ

There's also other youttubers like purotan that does vlog type videos where he talks about his personal life over his own workout footage and does eating challenges
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u01eWgyaVhY
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kw2XLBwirlY
A lot of these videos are autotranslated or even dubbed by youtube now

2020-2022 was peak NH. Fake merc series, multiple hour long talks in the garage straight after a lifting session, genuinely good life advice and excellent lifting advice, dog shit mic quality, 0 editing.
I miss those years. Now he's gone. It's over.
>>
I grieve him sometimes. May he live on as an ideal
>>
>>76940714
And he actually looked good.
His lifting advice has never been good though. I just liked listening to him rambling on about life for hours.

The war being fought right now is roid trannies vs natural lifters. No one gives a shit about anything related to lifting, its all about who is on drugs and isn't. Junkies bring in other junkies and ruin hobbies/activites. I don't even watch lifting related stuff anymore because it is pointless. It is just junkies reacting to junkies or tell people their gay as routines or methods when all you have to do is push or pull heavy objects to gain muscle. As for the "natty" section, you honestly have no idea if they are clean or not and yet again remove that "reaction" to those they see as roid fags, its back to a routine or method of push pull heavy object, get stronger. Lifting has just become something I do to gain strength, there is nothing more to it anymore. Why do you think dietfags,l ooksmaxxing fags and blackniggerpill fags have flooded the
board, its a dead horse.

Anyone who talks about "genetics" is full of shit.

Do genetics influence results? Yes.

Do can we model potential based off of genetics? No.

Is "genetics" usually used as an excuse? Yes.

When you hear "genetics" translate that to "I don't know how to train that muscle" and you'll be right 99% of the time.
>>
There needs to be a big gymcel influencer. A homegym hermit that pretends the outside world and gym community at large doesn't exist at all.
>>
>>76940076
>good channels left
Basement bodybuilding, gvs, Alphadestiny, bald Omni man, sometimes Alan thrall, a few others occasionally. The rest are just there to laugh at.

Thanks, I’ll check these out.

NH’s basic lifting philosophy was ok, but his programming sucked. He correctly critiqued the bad choices most people make in their programs but then committed a bunch of errors in his own. High-frequency and supersetting everything to cram in volume was his recipe for tendinitis. If he had laid off the supersets a bit, I think he’d have made more gains.
>>
>>76940112
PSSSSSSSSSH!
>>
>>76940157
He’s really good. I can listen to him for hours.
>>
>>76940095
Ryan humiston is a vegan roidtranny shill who preaches high volume low intensity nonsense and cons newbies out of their money for programs that just waist your time. Cavliere has good rehab advice but is also a roidtroon who uses fake weights. Also couldn't get his camera guy to look even half way decent using his programs. And I'm not taking advice someone named Nalewanyj, my skin is white

Fair enough, man, but some of us enjoy lifting as a hobby that’s good for its own sake. I don’t pay attention to the e-drama except when it’s entertaining, like the fallout from nippard/mr mike/solomon stuff. Other than that, bodybuilding is just a fun thing that keeps me healthy, aesthetic, and adds to my fulfillment in life.

Fitness was solved 20 years ago or at least the current state of affairs is the same ever since
All the fluff since is just that: fluff, or theoretical optimizing for an additional 0.1% which doesn't even matter for 99.9999% of the population because they don't have the basics down
YouTubers depend on creating content so they will just churn out turd after turd not because there's something new which is worthwhile but because their business depends on it
Just watch one 2 hour Lyle McDonald interview and you have all the knowledge that's worth knowing, if you need to know how to perform a particular exercise just look it up on exrx i guess
