I'm 35 now and still learning basic shit that dudes around me seem to have known for ages. My dad gave me 0 advice in general let alone on weightlifting. He got diabetes that ate away all his muscle when he hit 70s then ate away his sanity to the point where he hurled insults at us for trying to clean up a pool of liquid feces he was laying in. He also died depressed, knowing he 's leaving 0 inheritance since his sister and mother both went insane and indebted their family so hard they had to sell the family house. I mean for the most part he was ok and I still loved him, but the only lessons I learned from him was not to be him.
