Went to the gym with my 55 year old dad while I'm hope for Christmas break and he outlifted me significantly.
>>76941759no shit. he has your age plus the delta between your age and his age on you with respect to time in takes to get to his strength level. keep lifting and remember, we are all going to make it.
>>76941759Don't take it as a L, take it as a w for having Chad genes.
>>76941759I'm 29 and still don't outlift my 58 yr old dad. He also has 17 inch arms while mine are 15.5, and I'm ~20% bf.It's nice to know I might have that genetic potential and it will depress me when I do surpass him because it means he's declining. Be grateful.
>>76941936>it will depress me when I do surpass him because it means he's declining. It will mean that the torch has been passed, as it should be. He'll be so very proud.
Ask him to train you
I am a 55 year old dad. Way stronger than my sons. This is normal. They have my geentics (meh) and I have a 35 year old head start on them. The good news is that if they do what I tell them, they will absolutely surpass me very soon. My one son is only about 18olbs and squatting 315 to depth for 2-3 reps. Bench is coming along slowly, but its coming along. Consitency and time.If your father is still stronger than you, listen to him. He knows. And he probably wont tell you to use kettlebells.
>>76941759>tfw dad is a dyel who could barely bench 30kg
