How did (You) do it

Most people just don't give delts the same attention they give chest or arms. For most, delts are an afterthought and all they do is some half arsed lateral raise sets at the end of their workout

Unironically just start taking shoulder training seriously, focus on building a strong overhead press. Make it the primary focus of a dedicated session, do it before anything else when you're fresh just as you would with bench or squat. The guys who say this won't grow shoulders are only saying that because they max at 40kg, yeah no shit your shoulders are small. Once that number starts climbing towards 80kg you'll have shoulders like a tank. Lateral raises are good if done right, focus on raising the elbows not the hands. And challenge yourself with the weight too, you stay on the 6kg dumbbells forever. Don't forget to train rear delts too. And finally, you need to be lean while also being strong on those lifts, they'll never pop like you want them to if you're fat

my delts are starting to get a little capped even as someone plant based and overhead press is a big focus of my upper body workout

much less of a focus on lateral raises

What worked for your rear Delta
>>
>>76942629
ohp 4+ days a week, bar and single arm mostly. Dumbbell done properly is more lateral than front. For rear, rows and reverse fly are fine.

Lots of overhead pressing, some lateral raises. That’s pretty much all you need

This guy has flat rear delts
>>
>>76942761
not guy you are replying to but reverse pec deck or cable are good
>>
ohp ohp ohp ohp

not gonna lie bros I think rear delt isolation is a waste of time and you are better just working your rear delt with rows and shit
