I capped at 285x1 and 275x3, for some reason I could never get past it. Anything heavier than 275 just hurt my forearms and shoulders when I benched it. Also, the more I deadlift and squat in a month, the lower my bench ultimately is. I feel like I'd need to completely cut out either deadlifts, squats, or both to get a 3 plate bench without gear.

Maybe my advice will help.I've benched 3 plates for reps being 36 years old natty by actually focusing on benching due to having hernia and protrusions by being a retarded old lifting/powerlifing dumbfuck with great dl and good squat. Started doing long sessions of bench, 6-7 heavy sets with 7-9 minute rests. 2-3, max 4 reps with corresponding heavy weight. Rest was minimum one week. But what I actually also did at the same training - decent amount of additional training of pushing and debts correspondingly. That being incline dumbels, incline flyes, hammer, push-ups. All 3-4 sets with 8-15 reps, max weight.
