I just started doing these about 3 weeks ago, and I now feel they are essential as a preworkout warm up for both upper and lower body days . Though it is primarily a hip/glute exercise, it almost feels a bit like a full body workout when going past 30 reps.

Is there any reason NOT to do this amazing exercise? My back feels fine, and my arms are never fatigued to press or curl.

No reason not to, although the "american swing" in OP can be bad for your shoulders. Better to do it "russian style" to mid chest. If you want it over your head do the standard progression
>2h swing
>1h swing
>hand to hand swing
>clean
>clean and press
>snatch
Hand to hand swings and snatches are my go-to.

Unless you have a herniated disc or something causing pain, no, there's no reason not to avoid these. Swings are based work your posterior chain like nothing else. Also don't do them like your pic, stop at the third frame when the bell is just about eye level. Idk where people got the idea to bring it overhead but it's unnecessary. Do presses and snatches for shoulders

yeah, I don't move the bell above my shoulders, but right now, I am sorta shocked at how well this exercise is making me feel. Like, even on chest days, just doing like 3 sets of kettle bell swings really primes you up for benching. My only concern is that I also have leg days, and I run once a week so I worry about over training my upper legs. I think it has affected my running since I was pretty sore, but I am hoping it's just temporary.

Should be fine if you treat it as more of a hinge than squat.

Wrong, stop when the bell goes at bellybutton level.

doesn't matter how high it goes all that matters is that you are getting the desired effect. if your kettlebell is too light for your desired effect then you can exert more effort and let it swing higher.

I release the kettlebell into the air at the height of every front swing, and if i miss hitting the ceiling, I catch the kettlebell in a controlled manner and repeat.
It works my reflexes as I have to catch the kettlebell to avoid being hit in the head.

Wrong, hinge with enough force that the bell swings your arms paralell to the ground. ie, eye level. If you're swinging to bellybutton you're either short changing yourself or using way too heavy a weight

Record it and upload

I've been doing these as sorta-cardio almost every day
10 minutes, EMOM, 15 swings per
it feels pretty good, and gets my HR all the way up to 165-170 towards the end
