How many days can you stop training and still maintain strength levels?

>>769444442 weeks allegedly That doesn't talk about movement proficiency tho Seems like squat needs extra maintenance
>>76944535i feel like if i dont squat at least once everyweek i lose progress pretty quickly
>>76944444That’s not Mark Rippetoe
>>76944444Nice...pents? I can't remember the last time I saw something better than quads.Anyway, I lose reps on lifts if I take a week off, but they come right back, within a couple of sessions. It takes two weeks or more to begin losing any appreciable lean mass, I think, but its also easier to get back. I'm not sure how many months it would take to lose most of your gains. Several, at least.
>>76944444>dem digitsTwo weeks (average).I've experience this several times due to travelling for work, and I am on that level.
>>76944444Depends on your calorie intake and how active you're otherwise and genetics. I went 5 years without any pressing movement and after a month of comeback gains i had only lost 60 pounds of 3 plate bench.
>>76944594The human body is a lazy thing, isnt it? It gets rid of whatever youre not using and also thinks every meal is your last for awhile so it stores the excess calories. Fascinating, really. It cheats too, thats why when I do arms or calf raises, i have to do one at a time or I notice my body starts to favor a side.
>>76944444Three, maybe four weeks.
