>buy persimmons last week on a whim
>eat a couple with some cheese and crackers
>oh shit, persimmons are going bad
>can’t let them go to waste!
$100 later, here we are. Ensuring the persimmons will not go to waste.

This playful little dish is a take on the bodybuilder staples of “chicken and rice”. It will be “duck and risotto”, so still basically chicken and rice.

Is duck safe to eat? Will it impact my gains? I have eaten only chicken and rice for the last year, and I’m worried that if I deviate then all my hard work will go down the drain.

I’m a wild guy. Whoahhh, is that a weird fruit? Look out!

>Is duck safe to eat
It generally is, unless you decided to collect one from the park. Then all bets are off. Duck breast, I presume? If so, do yourself a favor and watch some vids on how to properly cook it. It’s not the same as chicken. Goated method is basically
>leave skin on duck
>put frying pan on stove
>no oil, butter or lard
>put duck breast with skin-side down into cold pan
>heat pan
>fry skin side down until slightly crisp and lightly golden
>turn breast to non-skin side and fry for 4-6 mins
>if necessary give it a few more mins on skin side

You want the meat a bit bouncy to touch, slightly rosy on the inside and the skin crisp and golden brown. Goes well with potatoes or rice.

Ohhh ho ho.. ohhh no.. you fell for my clever ruse. I actually know exactly how to cook duck! I know EXACTLY what I’m doing!

Persimmons cost that much ?!? I have three trees always full of them and never eat them because i hate the texture and the taste is nothing special. A friend of mine used to make cake with them but tasted like pumpkin pie.

It’s not a matter of cost, it’s a matter of not being wasteful. Allowing perfectly good food to spoil and get thrown away should result in a beating at the very least.

I stand corrected. Carry on, old chap.

Spending all that money on that fruit is stupid tho. Carrots are way more nutritional. But anyway just boil them and eat them idk
>>
>>76945162
Are you illiterate? I bought a whole duck and a bunch of other shit; the joke here is that by trying to off-set the loss of the persimmons I spent over ten times the money I spent on the fruit to make something with the fruit.

Yeah im esl i didnt get that. Btw you are probably overpaying all these products. Just curious, how much did you pay for that balsamic vinegar? I live in Italy and can assure you modena balsamic vinegar is most times a scam. If it doesn't have the stamp in pic rel it's not real modena balsamic
>>

$7 American. The quality doesn’t really matter as I’m reducing it anyway
>reduce cheap wine to au sec
>cup of balsamic, half cup of sugar
>reduce by half
