How /fit/ is your city? Is it easy to be /fit/ there?
>>
I live in Providence, Rhode Island.
It’s a two fisted, tough talking, spitting, smoking, drinking hell town.
But we wheeze when getting out of a chair.

Salt Lake City. It's like everywhere in America; fat. The city is designed so that nobody walks anywhere.
>>
i live somewhere in central jersey and if you're not fat you are probably a 7/10 already no exaggeration

there are two gyms, one owned by the city for $69.99/mo, and an Anytime Fitness with no machines that charges $35 biweekly
>>
my city is population 220,000 about. we have a lot of gyms per square mile, but its not very walkable, though unlike many american cities they have done a good job at keep older pretty buildings around. and they are trying to make it more walkable which i appreciate but progress is slow
>>
People get sick here during winter and lose gains, I guess there is a reason why most mr olympia winners lived in warm climate

Los Angeles: the closer to the beach you get, the fitter the people are. The more inland you go, the fatter people get.

Only exception is the San Fernando Valley and Silverlake.

Flyover state cucks think its normal to spend your whole life in air conditioned rooms and cars. They are scared of the world.
Tbh I miss how much sharper my social skills were when I lived in walkable areas. I had 0 social anxiety cause I got used to being around people and interacting every day. Met so many girls too.

My town is in a slope and small enough so you can walk anywhere, but people are lazy fat fucks and the town has a shit ton of public transportation lines, so almost nobody walks. I always say i go to point A to point B that are 3 or 4 kms apart and people bitches and cries like im a mad man. Im capped by the skin on my feet tho, i can walk indefinitely if i go on a non sloped path but i always get my feet wrecked with blisters and wounds because i just dont get tired at all. I dont even have an insane capability of cardio, im just at a normal level, but everyone is SO fucking lazy, fat and weak that they look at me like im some kind of olympic athlete or some shit. When i was a teen and had to take the bus and the bus didnt pick me up i used to run after it until i could reach a stop to hop on, even then, i cardio mogged all of my friends and they told me i was crazy for doing that

Tons of people on PEDs or getting treatment with low test. Gym is always full and nobody is doing shit. People look okay and are quite out of shape. My female friends keep complaining their dates can't handle a brisk 2km walk or sustain themselves in bed.

>raleigh, NC
bretty gud considering it's not a super big city. i live on the edge of the city and there's still a commercial gym, a local, strength-oriented gym, a planet fitness, and a pricier gym with amenities like a lap pool and sauna within 2.5 miles of me. there are a number of local gyms closer to the city center more geared towards powerlifting/olympic weightlifting and of course the brand-name gyms

as far as the people, i'd say it's very fit by the standards of the american south, granted this is not a high bar to clear

isnt it full of hippie rich kids?
>>76947898
the places by the beach are rich people like the pacific palisades that got burned by wildfires kek

Moved to a small town innamountains. Super comfy and everyone's nice but making a physical effort is such a foreign concept to them they look at me like an ayylien when they see me shoveling snow in my moderately-sized driveway myself.
