Does it matter at all which one of these I use for tricep pushdowns?
>>
>>76949058
Yes, because everything but rope will eventually damage your wrists.
>>
>>76949062
What is the purpose of the other three then?

You don't need to grip the straight bar. You can just push it down with the palm of your hand. It's the the superior grip for pushdowns, the only one that can be used with superheavy weights.

To damage your wrists.
>>
>>76949058
yes, because everything but rope allows you to pull properly balanced left and right
>>
I just grab the cable with no attachments and do it one handed
>>
>>76949082
yeah use bar

Only the 2d triangle or rope. The choice between them is preference, but specifically, rope requires grip and therefore distracts from pure tricep isolation (or just crushes my pinkies). The circle ends on the triangle grip dig into my wrists when putting up the weight. Avoiding that problem with the triangle grip then causes other issues wrt the cable machine itself (cable placement and such).

>straight bar
How the heck do you bend your wrist enough to keep your hand flat on it? That strains my wrist way too much (specifically at the top/stretched portion of the movement) to be comfortable.

Uncircumsized shriveled up penises of african descent.

lean forward a bit, it's like the dip at the end of a muscle-up
>>
>>76949058
No, not really
>>
>>76949148
lol
>>
>>76949058
Yes. You want to use the stiff straight or angled bar so you can exert as much force as possible because there is no instability introduced by the rope.
>b-but much stabilizers
Stabilization is just keeping balance. Push down is for training the triceps. Might as well focus as much as possible on training the triceps and not worry about trying to get your abs, glutes, or shoulder involved more at the expense of training the triceps.

the two parallel handles attached with a V are good for rows.
