your form is bad, your lower back is too weak to do barbell rows, and/or you're using too much weight.

unironically rest until its healed and then do deadlifts at least until your lower back is strong enough to support barbell rows. if you want to hit your upper back while shit heals do seal rows.

if you're squatting, check your squat form too.

Good advice. I'm a super beginner and was constantly getting niggles until I decided to do super safe movements (just pushups ring rows and bulgarians) for big volume (sets of 25).
The fitness-injury curve is absurdly high for beginners and then it normalizes
