Squatted 200kg for 10 reps this week, but I dont feel good about it because im a fat manlet, but if I cut down to get ripped, all my strength will leave me.

Im at a cross roads.

Continue being brutally strong, but remain a fat manlet

or get ripped, and give up on strength and stop powerlifting

Nah I have cut before.

I went from 94kg to 68kg and I went from elite lifts to novice tier lifts

My strength is heavily dependent on me being at a high bodyweight


im only 170cm (5'6 or 5'7)


This whole "You dont lose much strength bro" is bullshit. I lose a ton of it when Ive been ripped.

hm i say still do a cut then, you dont have to go so low but clean up your physique a bit. you will have to fight savagely to keep your gains and will lose some but i say its worth it. you refer to yourself as a "fat manlet" and thats just no way to go through life. and you can do something about the fat part

My leverages change massively from 94kg to 68kg buddy

I go from a 40 inch waist to a 27 inch waist while my arms go from 17 inch to 15.5 inch

The core strength that helps me move all the weight gets completely dissipated as I lose all the fat from the midsection, this is a genetic thing, i store a lot of fat there, and it all comes off when im ripped in that same location.

if you lose strength when you lose fat it was never your strength. it was ballast the fat was giving you.
