Hi!I’m sending this post a bit like a message in a bottle because I’ve been doing weight training for 3 and a half years and I’m pretty disappointed with my visual results. In terms of performance, nothing to complain about. I’m making progress every session (I write down what I do each workout, so my goal is always to do better than the last one). The problem is just that my physique doesn’t seem to change.Another issue, which I feel is definitely related: I don’t “feel” my muscles when I train. It depends a lot on the muscle group and the exercises (compound vs. isolation), but in general I feel very little pump and no burning sensation at all. Most people seem to place a lot of importance on these sensations, whereas for me, aside from feeling the weight is “heavy,” I don’t feel anything.Just to clarify, I’ve tried all kinds of training formats (Upper/Lower, PPL, Full Body, Split), and I do sets in the 8, 10, 12, and 15 rep ranges (again, it depends on the exercise). I’ve never trained specifically for strength with low rep ranges. Thanks in advance for your replies
