Heyy /fit/, what are some good animal based protein powders that aren’t dairy based?
I can have dairy, i just can’t have excessive amounts of iodine. Whey protein variable concentrations of iodine, sometimes extremely high, and i just can’t trust it.
The iodine thing is a very specific medical issue i have, i know for most people it’s a very important thing and would be stupid to avoid otherwise.

beef protein powder is one that bodybuilders from the 90s swore by. id imagine egg protein powder is also quite good.

>beef protein
Tastes and smells like ass, which makes sense since it's made of cow buttholes. Also I'm not sciencefag but I do know gelatin while technically protein doesn't give gains.

>gelatin
thats because its made of collagen. and no it wont help your joints and tendons either. gelatin is just best used to make jello for cravings on a cut.

avoid them. if you can't get all of your protein from food you're doing something incredibly wrong
