If you are natty and not training exclusively in 4-6 rep range you are retarded.

Myofibrillar almost entirely, easy to injure but worth it.
>4-8
My favorite for finishing a session and lowering rest to be able to simulate higher reps. My favorite for size since I try to get some of both muscle types each session.
>10+
Less size and strength, but probably helps endurance and increasing workload and how efficient your muscles deliver oxygen therefore glycogen. I bet it helps across the board but I'm not doing that many fuckin reps I'm way too lazy.

Does anyone here do eccentrics a lot? Seems dumber than isometrics/muscular failure on 1rms. But it seems to be a favorite of a lot of massive guys big on mmc, specific fibers, etc. I'm more of a believer in junk volume and that you probably aren't getting results on the first few reps of high reps.

retarded gains don't count?

the reason i hate eccentrics is because you can't properly measure it unless you become autistic about it. if you do a 3 second eccentric it might be 2 seconds on one rep and 2.5 on another, it's really hard to do progressive overload on it.

I would always do controlled reps over eccentrics as I never really push much on the eccentric but it seems like a whole different way of lifting. Maybe it just practically keeps the weight in the pocket or has constant time under tension. I've always been of the mindset of just doing low reps before high reps, at one point doing a shitload of sets of super low reps for sick gains but it's very time intensive and tiring. I'd also assume it hits every muscle fiber vs using the bounce reflex which would lead to a possibly unbalanced physique.

If you wanna try something cool and I'm assuming you basically nail the muscle 100% every session, try some compounds like say ohp where you push mainly with triceps to get some odd fibers you normally wouldn't. Rows for rear delts is my shit right now trying to build big ass shoulders and that's the only reliable way to get a solid rear delt pump every set. Gotta go extra high really try to backfist the weight almost, mmcing elbows is rather futile ime.

you dont have to count like some spastic work out scientist, just control the eccentric and feel the pull
>>
>>76952846
you can't progressive overload doing this, it's a suboptimal training routine. just do regular dynamic reps for muscle and isometrics for tendon, it's simple.

>egorep to get a heavier eccentric
I kind of don't like it similar to how on machines most start from the bottom of the rep. I typically try to go all out on my concentrics then will do hypertrophy training, just did a set of added eccentric btb since it's not exactly the most conducive lift to strength anyways as size is kinda lacking vs arms atm at least in terms of absolute max gains. Definitely want to add eccentric to some rope triceps and neutral leaned putside bicep curls because I definitely neglect some fibers but now I want to find some low rep mid delt shit to work on to get them to keep up with arm size(front and mid is growing well but mid not so many power movements besides dbs which my spinlock is broke).

How the fuck does mr taint rep 315 but can't ko someone with gloves and wraps?

Are you even huge? I train 10-20reps and lemme tell you gains are unreal. 10-15 for strength. My muscles look sweet.

andrew tate lost to a guy who doesn't even fight.
how embarrassing

Caveat being that you're lifting a weight where 4-6 reps brings you to or close to failure

Doing 4-6 reps with a weight that you can easily do 12 reps with turns your training into a joke
