>FRIDAYI sleep on my arm and wake up with some real pain. Tylenol give it a lot of relief, but it I think I was flexing my bicep all night and made it sore>SATURDAYPain is worse. Leg day at gym.>SUNDAYPain is same. Work chest. After each exercise, my arm radiates pain. I realize that it's not during the exercise, but starting and stopping. >MONDAYRest day. Arm doesn't hurt too bad.>TUESDAYShoulders and back. Excruciating pain, but again, only when starting and stopping the exercise. >WEDNESDAY and THURSDAYI was celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ>FRIDAYToday. I have injured and/or pinched a nerve in my arm and I confirmed this because, well, one, my fingers have tingles that comes and goes, but two, my dad offered me a singular tablet gabapentin to see if it helps and it seriously did, and that's for nerves. I'm a type one diabetic and nerve stuff freaks me out a bit. Anybody have similar nerve pinch experience? Does it go away on its own? Do I need a doctor? Or just wait it out? Any stretches I can do?
More to the point, can I work out today? I was going to do back and biceps
>>76953564Could be saturday night palsy, see if your thumb extension is weak. If so just wait 6 weeks. I don't think you need to stop doing anything you're capable of doing.
>>76953654Actually, the wrist and hand is more or less unaffected, other than the tingles that come and go. The pain starts mid forearm-ish and really effects the bicep/tricep, but can't pinpoint it. Goes up into the shoulder, though. I think they're all the same thing, though, just in different locations so I might just have to wait and be careful for a few weeks, like you said.
