I got the flu 2 weeks ago and today I am going back to the gym to assess my lost gains.

>>76956027holy fuck
>>76956027expect at least 50%
>>76956027I just started again after a 2 week break, I quit creatine for that period too so maybe that's whyI'd say im at 80% but for whatever reason it's not my muscles getting beat up it's my goddam nervous system. I just feel that deep whole body fatigue when doing compound stuff. It's actually pretty strange that my nervous system of all things is the thing that is hardest to kick back into gear again.
>>76956089I got the COVID variant few months ago, whatever the fuck its called now the oingo boingo fucko 2025 variant. Even after all the sore throat stuff subsided, I still felt a slight dizziness, fatigue, and nausea for weeks afterward. Not enough to prevent me from doing things but just enough to be a pain in the ass and make me want to lie down whenever possible
>>76956027>nipponese are white>is clearly brown
>>76956027I was sick for the 2 weeks before turkeyday. Traveled for the holiday week. Wasn't 100% by the time I got back to it. Well into December I was still down to maybe 75% strength? Then holiday parties started and I feel like I've been hung over forever.Take it easy on yourself getting back into it. I'm over here having an existential crisis over my lost gains, when honestly I'll probably be back to where I was before getting sick once the hang over from New Year's clears.
>>76956094Nah I don't think I had covid. My tonsils were swollen as fucking golf balls for a week. My cough is finally starting to calm down now and my voice is still somewhat weak
>>76956027Girl abs!
dangit. everything im reading says the flu directly causes straight strength and muscle loss and i basically have to rebuild lost gains.DANG IT. in other words - the flu is a true Gains Goblin
