The quickest path to being huge as a natty is getting to intermediate strength as quickly as possible and then swapping to a higher volume program
Running SS or SL for a few months will give you years worth of fuck-arounding gains and then when you swap to a bodybuilding routine, it will actually work

Your diet is the most important factor tho
You need exactly 0.8g of protein for every pound of lean body mass you have from whole meat/dairy, and least double that in carbs from whole grains and then the rest of your calories from fat
Burgers, pizza, single battered fried whole chicken is all fine as long you're getting fiber and veggies

Absolutely no alcohol ever and then avoid sugar except maybe a little tiny bit AFTER you've eaten the rest of your food for the day

Does cardio zone training matter in reality?

I went for a run yesterday instead of doing my cardio at the gym since I'm off for the holidays. Normally I do cardio at the gym because it fits better with my commute and schedule, but being off I ran in the cold.

Normally I do half an hour of stair master and a hard run for 20 minutes. With cooldown/warm-up it lasts an hour.

The other day I went for a jog/run that was a few seconds shy of an hour.

I compared the stats that my watch gave (I use a Polar FT4). I set my training zone to zone 2 for easy runs, and never change it. So my watch is beeping at me a lot when I'm at the gym doing cardio (124 to 162 bpm).

Run (outside, -10 deg. Celsius (felt like -21 with wind)):

Time in zone: 0:42:18

Gym session cardio (mix of stairmaster/running):

All that to say, do training zones mean anything? I busted my ass for a what, extra 150 kcals? Doesn't seem worth it. Does training in hard ranges for prolonged periods increase or decrease your chances of heart attacks? I don't mind doing one or the other, I once read that being able to train at threshold HR for extended periods is a sign of superior health/performance, is that even true?

Despite being less intense, I felt more beat to shit after the run vs the stair/run combo. But I figure that is because the stairmaster can work you out more without exploding your joints as much?

Idk, normally I'd just run and not ask questions. But now since I'm comparing a different exercise, I'm asking getting curious.

I was 75 kg @ 176 cm, and with BF% at 20% 3 months ago, and now my weight is 62 kg and my BF% is at 16%.
But when I put those number in FFMI calculator I got "below average" results.
While when I input my old BF% and weight I get "above average" results.

Yeah, the thing is that I feel most of the reasons that led me to depression are not part of my life anymore, which I why I want to wean off of it.

Dumbbell RDLs are great for glutes. Once you get a sense of where your hamstring and glute stretch is with heavier dumbbells you can graduate to horsecocking with barbell RDLs

Any big compound lift is gonna hit glutes but isolating them requires doing girl shit. If you ever encounter a Booty Builder there are few other movements that I can think of that I feel exclusively in my buttcheeks.
