100,000 push-ups in the year 2026. Is it doable? Anyone else up for the challenge?
>>
>273.9 a day

Definitely doable.
>>
For what purpose?

Waste of energy
>>
>>76965946
>complains about wasting energy
>wastes energy to post this stupid comment
>>

273 pushups a day compared to a single comment retard
>>
>>76965935
Shoot for 300 a day in ten sets of 30 throughout the day. It's definitely possible depending on your starting level.
>>
>>76965935
This was definitely posted by an overenthusiastic 17 year old. Have fun messing up your rotator cuff.
>>
>>76965991
I can do about 30 push-ups in a row. Maybe it's soable in 27 sets of 10
>>
>>76965935
I currently try to do 300 a week, which is 1200 a month, and 12,000 a year.
I would need to do nearly 10x the amount of pushups to meet this goal.
>>
>>76965935
Waste of fucking time. Add weight or better yet, just bench press or another pressing movement. Do you think you are an anime character anon?

>Is it doable?
yes, just need to do 275ish pushups every single day
>Anyone else up for the challenge?
fuck no
>>
>>76965935
My shoulder feels fucked up after going hard on pushes for 4 days in a row. Count me out, unless the chinese woman's magic fingers cures my pain.
>>
>>76965935
ten thousand in 1 year sounds like a challenge i'll take you up on that offer
>>
not for me. i think heavy computer use from my youth fucked my wrist. i have to be mindful waht exercises and lifts i do and spread them out. or else it starts feeling pretty bad
>>
>>76967007
It’s not “fucked” its just adapted to the movement patterns youve put it through for the last however many million hours.
You’re probably using your own wrist incorrectly at this point
>>
>>76965980
he gets stronger and gets good at doing 273 push ups

you make a retarded comment

Okay, can anyone really define what a push up is? I thought I was a sissy for only doing 10 in a row. I still might be in relative terms, but I go all the way down, all the way back up controlled. I finally saw my friends who bragged about doing 50+ pushups actually do some, they go down like half an inch before going back up and pretend it's full ROM. What the fuck. This needs to be standardized.

>>76966986
10k in a year is babby tier easy.

Does he get stronger or weaker? Seems like alot of unneeded cardio

Great post on an anime inspired website's fitness section.

Not daily. You need rest
>>
>>76967420
Is this supposed to help with pushup definition? It’s in the angle where you can only see his malteser head dip up and down. Thanks for nothing.
>>
It was just done, bro hit over 300k.

Do hard things 365
>>
>>76967148
I think he'll get ruined shoulders before he does 273 pushups in a single day.
>>
>>76969485
yes because its not textbook/millitary strict/exaggerated form and it's not legs drooping not going down far enough with the arms form

>can I have the amazing results of cutting out sweets but doing it by grinding my cartilege to dust?
Still impressive feat doing that many pushups overall
>>
>>76966818
Absolute classic inspiration, but he's probably on gear, correct
>>76965935
I was doing a bit over 1,000 per week for 7 weeks straight without fail.
I have to agree w some people here - stick to pushups only for a long while, but, eventually, you should do weighted pushups or bench press. You'll get more jacked and can still do some pushups on another day for the endurance. Also, you need days of rest in between. Doing those high rep pushups forever will just take alot of time and, ofcourse, is great if thats literally your only option.
>>
>>76970528
In the pictures he looks the same but I bet IRL it's more pronounced
>>
>>76965935
Probably, bit I wonder if a better exercise? Like bw squats would be legit as well. Hell, do both squats and pushups.
>>
>>76970485
probably depends a lot on his fitness level, but he 100% destroy his shoulders if he does standard pushups on the floor with fixed wrist position. Pushups on gymnastic rings would be a lot better for shoulders, but they're significantly harder
>>
>>76971062
That would be a legit challenge. Split the total, so 50,000 pushups and 50,000 squats. Better overall development as well.
>>
>>76965935
Thanks, but I'd rather keep following a normal UL routine over gimmicky snap city shit, I'm not a crossfit retard.
>>
>>76970528
I have the same pec assymetry this guy has. I know its probably just me noticing it but it sucks so much
>>
>>76971083
This is actually doable. Approx 150 pushups and squats per day. I might try this (until I get bored and give up in a few weeks lol)
>>
17 pushups every hour for 16 hours a day.
You don't even have to strictly do a set of 17, you can do 10+7, 7+5+5 as rest pause.
What would be interesting to see is someone who did this max out in one set.
>>
I remember that I had to read 8 pages a day to get through my reading list backlog last year. missing a week wasn't that bad, but I still ended up quitting eventually

if you miss one day you're in push-up debt. you probably have to aim for the 300/day or more just to make sure you don't get fucked to death if you miss some days. which you will, because if you actually do this you'll have to learn a lot about taking care of your joints/mobility/recovery.
I don't know, I'm putting too much effort into this response.
>>
>>76971221
Yah, the proper way would be to make a daily goal, and work on that, and not actually care about the yearly total.
>>
>>76965935
I have done 200 a day consistently before so 273 is possible.
>>
>muh arbitrary amount in arbitrary allotted time(arbitrarily dictated by random bullshit)
i mean if its stress free for you to do this shit then by all means gopher it. i doubt it is if you are making a big deal about it though 4bh
