When you're living an active lifestyle long hair is a pain in the ass, that's why. I lift heavy, run and do BJJ. Gets in the way of training, and it gets annoying when you train to the point you're literally soaked in sweat. Plus you have to shower more when you're training like that if you don't wanna stink, drying is a pain
