My zepbound progress so far I knew CICO thermodynamics etc since middle school (had childhood obesity and wished to change), but there is a chasm between knowledge and practice. If your environment growing up or genes or brain chemistry are bad then it's really hard to resist the readily available sugar and fat everywhere in USA. It felt like there was a rat in my brain constantly clawing at the sides demanding calories, and eating only sated it in the moment. On GLP1s I feel "normal". I have better days and worse days and still need to choose to make healthy choices but it actually feels achievable and possible now.
