What's the most retarded advice you ever got/fell for from Bodybuilders or /fit/forums?I got duped into heavy Bicep training and Cheat Curls. I believed Arnold and some people here and didn't get any results with this bullshit. The only thing that saved me was good Tricep genetics, otherwise I would have twig Arms back then. I switched to light Bicep work and boom, extra 2.5 inches magically appeared.

Any exercise that doesn't revolve around heavy weights and barbell compound lifts are bad. Ditched the meme powerlifting exercises and switched to machines and dumbbells.

Mine was neglecting arms and compounds would take care of it. Yeah eventually my forearms developed golfers elbows from going heavy with the lat pull down. Given I also had anti-inflammatories and was using the thicker bar.Really started doing more and going heavier with arms, helped a lot and they are their own strength

I still got fat and became a GOMAD victim, and the torturous 5x5 squats 3 times a week grew even more gargantuan legs & ass than even SS does, but at least with SL there was a tiny bit of extra upper body and ab work and overall volume for the stupid amount of calories to be spent on.
