BMI is widely recognized and used to describe bodies but the BMI scale is wrong and useless or even harmful.

18.5 BMI is not "healthy". 135lbs at 6' is not "healthy". It is severely underweight and dangerous.
A healthy BMI starts at 22 and can be as high as 30 easily. Underweight should be <22.5 not 18.5 and overweight should be >30 not >25.

25 BMI is only 185lbs at 6' which is a very reasonable and healthy weight. Only people with zero muscle, which is itself unhealthy, are likely below this.

BMI is a metric for loosely guiding cardiovascular health risk. It doesn't matter whether your mass is lean or fat - too much is too much. Where it fails, is calculations for extra tall or extra short people, and it is arguably still too lenient overall.
