Lower back pain when squatting high bar. Deadlifts feel fine

What the fuckeddy fuck is happening?
>>

You're fucking up your L5-S1
>>

That's the sacroiliac joint and you can sprain it lifting. Stretch hamstrings, keep toes forward, and don't squat or deadlift heavy anyway.
>>
Depends on the type of pain, could be spinal compression from the bar on your back, leading to a disc bulge or herniation
>>
>>77000655
One of my discs bulges there. Its fine as long I dont bend over for a certain period of time, or it locks up
>>
>>77000655
Maybe you just have testicular cancer.
>>
>>77000704
how is it fine your shit is bulging
>>
>>77000655
If you're not a competing lifter drop it for leg press. It's not worth troubleshooting infinitely.
>>
>>77000738
Im an American, so it has to be fine, hahaha

but leg pressing is gay as hell

Similar pain a couple weeks ago.
It may have been after deadlift session on a rest day.
But it happened before too in summer and it was hella painful at times walking sitting etc.
Felt like I got chopped by a axe in that area just above the hip on lower left bank. Like my leg and hip were not firing as I walk or step up.
I did yowtub research and started one leg balance exercises.
Got better in a day.

Could be a QL strain if it’s on the side of your body and you feel it went twisting or leaning over to the side

Release the muscle and see what's up with your hips. I had this issue without knowing and it made it hard for me to even walk. Doctors were totally useless("...take pill xyz") and I had to do the most work myself.
>>
>>77000771
I mean, realistically, there's not much of shit doctors can do about that anyway, regardless of cost.
>>
Could be a combination of poor core and tight hip flexors forcing your lower back to overcompensate.
Or youre about to enter snap city
>>
>>77000655
How hard are you trying on hanging leg raises without a back support? Is your hip and knee mobility effecting your form? Do you hump forward and keep a stiff core when at the lower portion?
>>
>>77000769
Front squat is a good alternative to keep at low weight and won't put as much weight on that one disc or be as heavy. It also is good for developing core since there's levels to how strict you can be on fs a lot meaning you can be doing less than half of your squat for reps and still be doing meaningful work.

mine hurt there for years.
recently unfucked my hip. feels like crunching gravel deep near the spine when i bend over with proper form, no pain anymore tho so doesnt bother me much. low back feels numb after making the gravel crunch so i assume flexing it out is doing good.

lurk moar before posting.
the QL, sacroiliac, and the psaos all interject with eachother, causing mimicking issues across the entire back and groin.
any time one comes up, stretch all three.
if pain goes away it's not joint related and you have serious posture issues of a muscle/tendon group.
