I'm a lonely fuck and think sports and physical activity could be good social hobbies to bond over. What activities work best in this regard? What about hiking or going to a climbing gym? I live near mountains and like nature.

hiking clubs and climbing gyms are easy places to make friends. Pickleball is pretty popular lately in the summer and girls play a lot.

I like the climbing gym but most people are ideologically opposed to me, causing me to conceal my power level.
Super helpful and kind people, but niave, and a tad gay. Still fun to do, and a bunch of unique personalities to chat with.

Soccer seems easy to into as an adult

I think my self consiousness won over here. Always felt like i seem like a weirdo who normal people would want to avoid.

maybe take some classes if you can afford it. Anything, even a solo sport, can become a social activity if you are learning together with other people.

seconding this.
hope you have / will find some good climbing buddies, anon.
