Is fasting good for the bed bound elderly?My grandmother is in the emergency room for heart trouble. She's never fasted.She doesn't want to eat. A few months ago before this was a problem I listened to this audio book which said that it hurts the sick to force them to eat when they don't want to eat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAw6ri_vXIgI'm worried about her life. (Anything stressful will.) so it’s a double edged sword. I will say I just finished a 3 day fast, I have nervous system problems and heart problems as a result like POTS and my symptoms like nervous pain and heart palpitations are gone for the time being.

Also some insider tip, once older patients stop eating altogether doctors will usually take them off their meds and put them on palliative care which is basically a death sentence in medical terms.
