Run a hard LP like SS and focus on getting stronger. Eat as much as you can. Don't worry about calories or whatever, just check that the scale is regularly going up. Focus on your lifts. You shove food down your throat so you will hit your lifts next time. I found this much more effective. Once the weight starts getting heavy you will be eating a ton naturally just so you don't die under the bar next time.

OP, take it from me, because i was a shrimp at one point too (5'11" 131 lbs at my lowest). you need to be gaining 0.5-1 lbs per week on a linear progression routine. gaining a little more than this in the beginning is fine, people don't realize how well skelly young guys' bodies react to actually being fed x weight training. i suggest GZCLP or GSLP for routine. don't even think about doing anything else until you weigh 150-155 lbs minimum, by which point you will have learned a lot and can re-evaluate based on your physique and goals. (you may, for example, choose to switch to a leaner bulk at this point).

the best thing you can do right now for your physique, your well-being, and your prospects right now would be to eat healthily at a surplus, sleep 7+ hours per night, follow either of the routines i mentioned above to a T, and make sure the scale is going up 0.25-0.6 kg/week for the next 4 months. your strength, appearance, hormones, energy, and self-confidence will skyrocket

anyone can recommend me some carbs heavy food that dont require much preparing? I used to spam oats with quark like 150g a day but now I get stomach issues when I eat them so I switched over to cream of rice.
My meals is usually protein shake with milk dinner and quark with CoR but it's like 2000-2500 cal I need at least 3k. I buy like chips and waffles and shit to snack on during evenings obviously not healthy but it fills the calories.

The part about "dont understand the vast difference.." this is the truth. I am 178cm/5'10 and weight listed in op, and anytime i even gain a bit i just freak out, i appreciate advice from everyone but people saying to bulk 1-2lb a week just seems extra, i think ill do what you suggested, the lightest i was was like 124lb so i think "speed running" to like 150-160 id just look skinnyfat or fat af lol

When I first started I was skelly and gained like a pound a day for the first two weeks or so. All in all I gained like 25 good lbs in the first 6 weeks.
Anyways it's an asymptote. A real skinny guy should gain at that rate for a bit, then less and less as he approaches his limit.
The only people gaining .25 lbs a week should be advanced or late intermediate lifters who have filled out their frames already. The dyels on here gaining at that rate so they don't get fat while weighing 155 is hilarious.
