What are your posture tips? I've spent 30 years sitting at the computer obsessively. Even 10 years ago my friends told me my posture was like picrel. Now I can't do a wall angel with my back flat against a wall. Also, I have some type of lumbar lordosis.
>>77004647Have strong abs and be mindful of posture at all times. But if you've got a desk job and got forced to sit for 30 years then I feel like it happens naturally.
not op but does sitting on a smaller or lower chair help?like you need to be more upright to be able to see your monitor

>>77004761My chair is definately too low, but I cant get it higher other the arms would hit on the desk and I wouldnt be able to sit close enough to monitor. A new more adjustable chair is for sure on my wishlist.
1. General strength: Go to the gym and build muscle. If your posture is broken you have to be extra conscious about form, though.2. TVA work: Don't spam crunches like a retard. You need to strengthen the deep core. Normal planks are a meme, do dead bugs EVERY DAY as well as side planks and Pallof presses3. Mobility & accessories: Pec doorway stretch and kneeling hip flexor stretch are mandatory. Do accessory work for your atrophied postural muscles like the serratus anterior (do wall slides), lower traps (do Y-raises), and external rotators (do face pulls)4. Breathing resets MAYBE: This a newfangled framework for posture that says all the muscle in the world wont help your posture if you're shallow chest breathing. Try 90-90 breathing drills or similar. I do them because they're fast and take no effort.
