What the fuck is the actual case with this supplement? I've never heard a more drastic range of experiences with some supplement you can buy on Amazon. I hear people say shit from "it promotes neurogenesis and prevents Alzheimer's while increasing your test via cortisol reduction" to "this shit will ruin your life and make you constantly depressed and retarded"
I thought supplements were supposed to work or not work, not help you a little in life or fucking melt your brain

It's because you're all getting scammed and having different cases of heavy metal poisoning related to what they used to extract specific variations of the supposed molecule in the bottle lol
Can you eat this lion mane thing raw ? No ? That's what i thought

Sea kelp

Lion's Mane really works well, until it doesn't. It depends on a lot of factors like hormones, lifestyle and time of the day.

Should you take it? Absolutely. Unless you take too much (of the wrong kind). How much is that? Well it's definitely more than the amount that you should be taking.

It is an absolute miracle drug but it can destroy your life, if misused, so tread carefully. Evaluate the specs and don't act irrationally, you'll be fine.

Now when it comes the type of Lion's Mane you should be taking, definitely don't take the type that is associated with the previous points I have talked about.

In conclusion: Pretty cool.

Firstly, 99% of any "weird" supplements you buy on Amazon are not actually what the description says they are. At best it is sawdust. At worst it is anti-anxiety meds or poison. Amazon doesn't care. The government doesn't care. Everyone is free to infinitely scam forever. Buyer beware.

Actual lion's mane sort of does what it says...but it turns about 5% of people into psychotic schizophrenics and permanently ruins their lives. They literally never recover from the supplement-induced mental illness. For perhaps a modest net cognitive benefit.

If you're going to fuck with your brain just do what literally everyone has done since the beginning of the Internet grift-o-verse: adderall or vyvanse. 100x better risk to reward ratio.

I took it for a few days and I was having intense dreams, far more than normal. I was also remembering long forgotten memories.

This.

Best to just avoid. This sort of shit is always gonna either be snake oil and a complete waste of money or something that will fuck you up.

If you want to feel better physically and mentally you don't need any gay ass supplements for that, a good diet and consistent exercise is all you really need to feel amazing, as cringe and cliche as that sounds.

It may help the brain somewhat, it might do jack shit. Check in 15 years from now and we might have a solid answer.

Retards with anxiety disorders are constantly trying to self medicate with random substances, all while they hallucinate new effects and disorders to treat like a 40 year old white woman with a gluten intolerance and lyme disease (on top of long covid).

All you need

When I was an alcoholic this shit gave me the worst depression. When I went sober this shit gave me improved cognitive ability such as sharper focus and faster mental processing speed. I bet most of the folks who respond poorly to lion's mane are losers. That's all

I wonder if a side effect is just exacerbating mental problems you already have. I know it's not a stimulant, but you see similar results with those. Stimulants tend to make your mind sharper and give you clarity (if you don't overdo them), but if you have an anxiety problem, they also tend to amplify your anxiety. I can imagine someone with anxiety taking it and their stress or paranoia increasing, making any cognitive improvement hard to even notice.

You didnt say anything informative, you absolutely sickening faggot

It will basically do nothing for you mentally. The nerve endings it targets are almost entirely located in your peripheral nervous system. If you are doing a ton of strength training it could improve your neurological adaptation and make you get stronger faster. Also don't buy cheap supplements, ever. 40-50 bucks is pretty normal to spend on a clinical dose of most supplements for a month. Emphasis on clinical dose. Use Google Scholar and find the studies that show the benefits and read what dosages they used.
