not him but what gets me is we have hundreds of visible cases of roiders just stepping off the sauce while trying to maintain training, but because most modern high-volume training only works on roiders, they not only shrink by at least half their size, but start to get detrained.
I started Mentzer HIT so I only spend maybe 25mins/week strength training but I've literally never been stronger/bigger in my life at the cost of needing 3 rest days between workouts.

Literally ass backwards and wrong. Mentzer shit only works when you are on roids and have the superhuman central nervous system to push your muscles to the brink on low volume. If you are natural you need more volume to get the same stimulation because you just hit failure a lot easier.

Most of the processes that give gear junkies "fake" muscles can be induced by natural lifters, but few people actually do it since going to failure at 20, 25, and 30 reps hurts a whole hell of a lot more than going to failure at 5 to 8 reps.

Dude I doubled my squat to a 4pl x 9 doing mentzer's ideal routine, training to failure invokes system-wide myostatin inhibition and pro-anabolic cytokine signalling instead of dicking around with 3 lengthy sets per muscle just to get to the last one, the hard one.
