all you need is a barbell and plates, you can do calisthenics to supplement or if you want to do gymnastics moves like the attention whore in your video
>>
>>77025979
This with my dip belt and a few plates would be my absolute dream set up.
Throw in some adjustable dumbells and it's near perfection.
Thing is, I have my rings set up at home and I almost never use them. Something about stepping outside of my literal comfort zone gives me the drive to train.

Wrong. Any tranny that larps as a woman will get 80+ replies, shitting up the board.
Funny to me how many anons talk about benching 325 are the same anons that will simp for a fake online woman to acknowledge their existence. Thats what most of the alpha chads I know irl are like, going to great lengths for a crumb of attention from the lowest tier woman.
In regards to OP yeah pilates are pretty cool, probably top tier workout for women. Yet even the strongest olympic women stand no chance in physical combat against the average untrained incel.

cause males don't weigh 40 kilos bot, i already explained it:

>but square-cube law also says it's immeasurably easier if u weigh NOTHING like both of em do :D

muscle strength is directly proportional to cross-sectional area of muscle which is a square, muscle volume and therefore weight is proportional to cube - times 3, cause volume is 3 dimensions multiplied

>but i don't umderstamd hooman

Muscle up is largely technique.
Try with a band to learn the movement.

>>77026936
You’re not strong enough for your weight, get to 3 reps weighted with at least 40%
bodyweight and kip hard (knee to chin). If you’re too proud to kip, then you need 50% bodyweight .
>>
>>77027019
>False grip, no momentum muscle ups on the other hand are a different beast

That's what I want to do. I want to one day do this slow and controlled. I say that, but I've never really given it an honest try. I think I'll get some paralettes and start dicking around more at home with this stuff. I got rings too but nowhere to put them.
>>

I found strict muscle ups on rings easier for doing reps but harder in general than on a straight bar.
Took me a while to get a good false grip on the straight bar to do reps.
Slow and controlled is hard, I still use alot of explosive strength when I do mine and I can do for reps now. Honestly havnt tried proper slow ones in a while.

My rule is: the efficacy of exercise equipment is inversely proportional to the appeal it has towards women. Is a bench with a good set of adjustable dumbbells really that intimidating to people? How is a fat woman with zero upper body strength supposed to get started on that wall ornament?
>>
>>77029641
With rings. You can support your body with your feet and gradually reduce your support and go support free eventually. Bands too, negatives.
>>
>>77029641
Women are turned off by mancaves. Calisthenics equipment fits the minimalist aesthetics they want and blends in with the room. It also symbolizes leaness and "holistic" exercise like yoga/pilates whereas power racks are associated with meatheads.
>>
>>77029644
I’m a friendly guy at the gym, I talk to everyone I can. All the years I’ve been there I’ve never once seen a fat person stick to the bands/self-assisted bodyweight exercises long enough to make progress. It does not work, there’s some psychological block and the assistance is too uneven.
>>
>>77025979
You know what separates a calisthenics bro from every other dyel out there?
>a shirt
>>
>>77029633
Currently and during the winter, calisthenics (Weighted and not) and some barbell (ohp and zercher squats) and dumbell work (zanetti press and lu raises) for planche training.
Summer time pure bodyweight calisthenics training. Still focusing on planche and also front lever training. But I enjoy push stuff alot more.
>>
>>77026965
>no bot, it makes it so much easier that even whaman can do it :D
It's not even a real planche to hand stand push up. It's an elbow lever. It's intermediate level for men, but impressive for a woman.

But also it's reversed, but a negative variation is still impressive.
>>
>>77029644
I love my rings so much bros. Kids love to play on them, too.
>>
>>77029658
Well, idk how to respond to that. I was a fat fuck as a youngin' so I don't got the calisthenic to weightlifting pipeline. I started as a lifter, and got pretty strong. When I got to 6pl8 DL but couldn't do one pull-up, I found it pretty pathetic. So I started with band assisted chin-ups, the bands got smaller and smaller. When I got stronger I went onto assisted pull-ups. And today I am by no means a god at it, but at 220 lbs I can do three clean ring pull-ups with 70 lbs on the dip belt. Like, I see what you mean, I've been in gyms for a while too and rarely see people do pulls or chins at all. Come to think about it I do see some at my gym, but none of them did any for the first few months I was there. Maybe my narcisism makes me think I started a trend.
>>
>>77025987
I don't get it. Why go to the gym to do calisthenics?
>>
>>77026952
I just don't get it. Why do they always skip legs? All they have to do is do some squats and calf raises and they'll have a well defined lower body to match their upper body. Instead they neglect legs.
>>
>>77030503
Training legs adds more mass there. Making the leverage harder to obtain.

Since this is tangentially related, anyone have experience with pic related type of pull up bar?
There are some dirt cheap near me on faceberg market, but they're not the adjustable kind, the bar is like 32" out from the wall.... Kinda want to buy one and put it over a door due to the doubled up studs or whatever, but at 32" out it would put me just under a ceiling fan.

Question is, can you do pull ups comfortable on the inside of the bar? Like in the 32" between the wall/door and the bar? Do the supports get in the way?

>>77025979
Male and female aesthetics are different, and we have different goals in our training. For men, training is more involved because to look good we need to develop lean mass over our entire body. To look good as a woman you need to not be fat and do squats, maybe throw in some calisthenics and get on a rowing machine if you're feeling dangerous.

Cuz u need to train explosiveness for that.not just raw strength and slow contractions. Dedicate some training like this. Do like 1 to 3 reps by pulling urself up as fast and high as possible, do it only when h feel completely rested and fresh, if u feel even slightest fatigue and u know ur next rep won't be as good, don't so it. U only use ur max power to try. U stay fresh and train body to recruit maximum power indtantly

It hasn’t happened in a while, but I’ve noticed my ROM isn’t symmetrical.

Skinny people do not need to ever go to the gym. They can get shredded by doing simple calisthenics. Fat people have to go the gym because a single pull up is so far beyond them.

Don't fall for the gym scam. But some gymnastics rings.
>>
>>77032158
You can do a pull up with hardly any clearance if you're doing arched back pull ups. I near exclusively do arch back pull ups because of limited clearance, or kneeling on low rings.

32" is more than enough room, you could probably even do a muscle up swing off that.

Yeah, but like I said in another comment I want to know how to do it with slow deliberate reps. I don't want to just explode and use power.

Unless it's a necessary progression?
