>>77037785atta boy wagmi king now take your rightful place amongst lifting royalty
Sick bro. Is Sadie Hawkins or courtwarming this weekend?
>>77037785At least post when you achieve something significant like 2pl.1pl is 6 months from untrained
>>77037785Nobody can really control 2pl8s and shit keep it up and do some more 1 notch military press heavy to keep the delt gains good shit. I literally remember my first 135 ohp, next milestone is 185 for reps and it feels good. The gains will be easier from here, strength base.
>>77037785Congrats ! But make sure to also always keep up with school and homeworks. Middle school can be rough, ask some girl out before she's taken in HS.
Congrats!
>>77037838I hit it at 2 months from untrained, 5 reps 3 sets, what is it with the people here shitting on my lifts? am i amongst the fitness elite here on /fit/?
>>77037838piss off
>>77038154dyel be MAAAAD>>77037851>Nobody can really control 2pl8sCope, it's same as 3pl bench. And like with 3pl bench enough people can do it for reps effortlessly
>>77037785how do I stabilize my core on this bitch, by rep 5 my spine starts folding in on like any weight
>>77038210Deadlift
>>77038214link *the* most ideal video to learn deadlift form. i will not be using a belt
>>77038222No, not my problem
>>77038228how about I make it your problem by saying please
>>77037785good job anon. I'm proud of you. keep your shoulders healthy and keep going.I'm at 165 at the moment. could probably get more by doing "The Press 2.0" but I can't get the feel of anything but strict
>>77038268>"The Press 2.0"call me retarded, but jerking your hips like that does not look healthyi have the same issue with people recreating the arch of triumph when benching, or bouncing the bar off their chest, or both. i hit 2pl8 bench flat as a board with strict pausing
>>77038371>i hit 2pl8 bench flat as a board with strict pausingCongrats on finishing the first 6 months of your fitness journey. Must've been an adventure
>>77037785>gets gains on ohpTry spamming some military press and db shoulders and shit. Do ohp at the end of a workout since the core gains won't lose much and you can go heavier on delts first. Or some high incline bench for shoulders.
>>77038371I don't think there's anything inherently wrong or unsafe about the form. The idea is just to bring the hips back by squeezing the hell out of the glutes, while bringing the chest forward, in effect straightening up the back and imparting a bit of momentum onto the bar. As I said though, I don't quite *get* it in practice and end up pressing strict. The truth is, all my recent OHP gains are really from doing seated dumbbell press (best: 75lbs x 9) and machines though. I just do OHP occasionally to test it because it's fun
