Build your own if you can! Maybe test a normal gym out, figure out what youll use the most and start piece by piece. Buy nice stuff when you do so you wont be like me and buy shit twice. Also I see too many videos of gym where people are assholes cause they wanna make videos...

If you can afford it, go for a home gym. Wait for sales on equipment and browse the "scratched and dented" section on online equipment stores for good deals. My setup cost $2000 but is well worth imo. I also have an small tv hooked up to a old pc to play some music on speakers. Whenever I hit a new top set or pr I unironically put on some pregnant woman or lactation porn and masturbate as aggressively and loudly as I can. Benched 225 for 8 the other day and had a great coom. No joke, highly recommend.

If the local gym has good equipment and isn’t filled with high schoolers and jeets it’s a better deal money wise than a home gym for the most part. Having a home gym will make you feel like a king though
