Very rarely have I seen any massive jacked dude with no abs. The Rock has very flat abs - but that appears to be genetic, I doubt its the result of failing to do crunches. I do ZERO direct ab work and when I am lean enough my abs pop through. Squat 485 to depth, bench 375 with a pause and deadlift 550 no straps = abs. Standing overhead press causes thick abs (I press 235 x1)So its not that youre WRONG its just not necessary, so its a bit of a waste of time and energy.
