there's this big guy at my gym, not really that big, just "trained for +8 years gymbro" physique like picrel, and he always begins his workouts drinking a energy drink, so, can i look as good as him if i eat properly and just drink some energy drinks before working out too, or is he prolly on roids?

Sure, it's carbohydrate water, perfect workout fuel. just mix sugar and water honestly, the carbonic acid in soda damages enamel.

I switched to zero calorie sodas years ago and I can't even enjoy the taste of regular soda. Zero calorie sodas have more effervescence in them and I love the mouth feel now.

diet soda or a can before a workout, drinking it and just sitting immediately will just spike your blood sugar
