New humanoid just dropped, lifting has officially been deemed useless.
>>77086489fake and gay
>>77086489yeah he can do a backflip, but can he flip burgers? otherwise he's never taking my job.
>>77086489Why do we even need this? Impressive from a physics perspective. But you could always make a task specific non-humanoid robot which will always be far more cost efficient and more effective than trying to replicated humans. Getting a huge team of these when you just need a one backhoe, one forklift, one tractor.
>>77086667Because the logic and ethics for universal humanoids is a hard problem that doesn't have answers acceptable to current meatsociety so robocucks have to keep themselves entertained with programming dance moves to keep investment money flowing in, because if they go out of business before the necessary social upheaval that will enable "the robot driver of the car should kill pedestrians to protect the owner" to be accepted then they won't get to be first to market and think of all the money they won't make then!!!!!1
>>77086667>>77086754oh and universal humanoids are desirable because john consumer doesn't need backhoebot, forkliftbot, tractorbot to build him a househe needs driver-bodyguard-chores-chef-sex-slave-bot that does everything
>>77086758I hope BlackRock buys the company and refuses to sell them and offers a subscription.
>>77086667cause fuckin science and shit bro
>>77086489Could you imagine if most Anons on 4chan did this? The buttons on their trousers would fly off while their belly explodes out of their shirt.
>>77086667In a world designed for humans, would it be easier to make robots for everything or a humanoid robot that can fit existing tools
>>77086489memes and fear aside, its actually insane how far weve come, i remember as a kid in 2005-2008 all our robots were basically huge bulky immovable pieces of garbage
>>77086489ok but if i dick slap it will it still be standing?
>lifting has officially been deemed uselessBut if Atlas lifts for me, I don't get stronger.
