I would say that it is crucial, about 80% of the process is the kitchen

already hit the gym for 6 months without soind diet properly and didn't gain any mucle nor lose fat

meanwhile in 3 months doing perfect dieting I lost 11kgs and gained a lot of muscle all with noob gains

dieting is EXTREMELY important, if you're not willing to do it, don't even bother with hiting the gym, it is better for you to do another sport

He was saying to just blast yourself with protein. My logic was that you need energy to use the protein, so if you are on shit blood sugar levels you body will waste protein using it as energy, while if you eat some carbs you will use more protein on muscle building. My experience with AI for fitness purposes is overwhelmingly positive. If you feed it an accurate comprehensive question it will reply accurately. I have used it for rehab , to identify muscles and possible weaknesses and give form suggestions so I can feel the muscle more etc

I think if you cover the basics you don't really need to worry about it much to gain muscle - but the less you train, the more important it becomes. For example, my diet is very good, which allows me to maintain a decent physique with very little training (haven't lifted in over 1 year, have lower bf% and haven't lost _much_ muscle). Had my diet been poor, I would have lost more muscle and gained fat.

its true that it can forget, which is super annoying; but you can help it by making sure memory settings are on, and then also telling it to give you totals every once in a while, or even put it in excel sheet.

but it makes it way easier than those apps, and can help out on evaluating maintenance, strategy and etc;

While this might be true on some level, I doubt it makes a meaningful difference if you're on a balanced diet and have a slight caloric surplus everyday. There's a difference doing this when you've been starving and when you just wake up from a feasting the previous night. I'm pretty sure hormone levels and energy levels take longer to return to a certain baseline than the duration of a night's sleep. Your physiology adapts over slightly longer periods of time.
